The Tyco 16-channel TVR16100 is a professional hardware based standalone digital video recorder (DVR). No PC is required with this system; just plug in any standard TV, CCTV monitor or computer monitor and begin recording up to 30 frames per second (FPS) right away. This recorder is designed for maximum flexibility and ease of use; it can be fully configured using the included remote control, a USB mouse, or even over the internet. With alarm input/output, Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) camera control, network access, DVD/USB/Remote backup, and high quality 720x480 resolution this DVR is perfect for the home or small business. As with all our products, free unlimited lifetime technical support is included should you ever need help setting up your DVR.

The system is designed from the ground up to be fully functional from a remote location. Connect the DVR to a network or an internet connection to gain full access to all features virtually anywhere; view live images from all cameras, play back recorded clips, create backups of important events, or even take control to reconfigure the system entirely. With the unparalleled flexibility our remote access options give you you can use any and all options within the system without needing to be nearby.

Using the absolute latest in compression technology, the Tyco DVR allows for highly compressed video that takes up much less space, without sacrificing the quality of the recordings at all. The H.264 compression allows for cleaner, more detailed images to be recorded while still able to record weeks of video on motion detection mode.

The system supports 16 alarm inputs and 4 alarm outputs, for external sensors or triggers. Video can be set to be recorded continuously, or when a camera sees motion in its field of view, or when triggered by an external source. The system has full control over Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras, and is compatible with any analog camera we carry.
